Electrolysers can be produced at a pretty good rate in India. The government has also taken the right steps with two tranches under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) scheme.
In March, Haryana-based Hygenco commissioned India’s first green hydrogen plant for steel production and plans to commission three more by the end of FY25.
